Charlotte
Charlotte arrived in heavy snow for a job interview & youth panel with 12 huge bright pink hula hoops—to get young & old doing crazy things! This plus her iceskating ability and deep faith, big heart and big smile earned her a part time SAYT Youth Worker post.
Her experiences as a redcoat, on cruise ships and even finding herself and her faith in Australia, make her the fun, engaging person she is - who just loves to hang out with young people.
Charlotte recently married Matthew, with many young people attending their Wedding service! They also run fiternal.com - their own Christian company - helping people live fitter, healthier lifestyles, that are affordable & sustainable.
She brings SAYT many qualities, skills, gifts & her faith. Charlotte relates so well with young people, who know she really ‘walks the walk’, listens & cares....
What does Charlotte think about her new job?
Charlotte says..... " I just love working with Young People in the Sevenoaks area. I really feel it's an honour to be placed where we are and be part of the young people's lives. I just hope I can be part of the help in life they sometimes nedd; to listen to things they are concerned about - health, education, work, relationships - and having fun too!"
